Sarah Cypher

Sarah Cypher is an American author and freelance book editor raised in a Lebanese Christian family near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She earned a BA in Creative Writing from Carnegie Mellon University (1998–2002) and an MFA from Warren Wilson College (2017–2020), where she was a Rona Jaffe Fellow in Fiction, and her debut novel The Skin and Its Girl (Ballantine, 2023) received a Stonewall Honor and was shortlisted for the Ursula K.
