Sara Nović

Sara Nović is an American writer, translator, and professor, born in 1987. She is the author of Girl at War, which received an Alex Award, and True Biz, a New York Times bestseller. Mother Tongue, published by Random House, was longlisted for the 2026 National Book Award for Nonfiction. She holds an MFA from Columbia University and lives in Philadelphia.
