About Salvatore Scibona

Salvatore Scibona (born 1975) is an American novelist whose debut novel The End (2008) was a finalist for the National Book Award for Fiction and winner of the Young Lions Fiction Award. His second novel, The Volunteer (2020), won the Ohioana Book Award and the Mildred and Harold Strauss Living Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He directs the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library.
