Ruth Dudley Edwards

Ruth Dudley Edwards (born 1944) is an Irish-born historian, biographer, journalist, and crime fiction writer who has lived in England since 1965 and describes herself as British-Irish. She is known for award-winning non-fiction works such as Victor Gollancz: A Biography (James Tait Black Memorial Prize) and Patrick Pearse: The Triumph of Failure (National University of Ireland Prize for Historical Research), as well as satirical crime novels featuring Robert Amiss including Corridors of Death and Murdering Americans.
