About Rudyard Kipling

Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936) was an English novelist, poet, and short-story writer born in Bombay, India. He is best known for his children's tales like The Jungle Book (1894) and Just So Stories (1902), his novel Kim (1901), and poems such as "If—" and "Gunga Din." In 1907, he became the first English-language recipient and youngest winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature.
