Rotraut Susanne Berner (born 1948 in Stuttgart) is a German graphic designer and illustrator specializing in children's books. She is renowned for her Wimmelbilderbuch series of wordless picture books featuring intricate scenes in the fictional town of Wimmlingen, with over 6 million copies sold worldwide, and for illustrating The Number Devil by Hans Magnus Enzensberger. She won the Hans Christian Andersen Award for Illustration in 2016.
