Rosemary Harris

Rosemary Jeanne Harris (1923-2019) was a British author of children's fiction, born in London, England. She won the prestigious Carnegie Medal in 1968 for her novel The Moon in the Cloud, the first book in an Egypt trilogy set in ancient times. Her career included reviewing children's books for The Times and writing romance and suspense novels as well.
