About Rosemary Cohen

Dr. Rosemary Hartounian Cohen is an Armenian-American sociologist, author, journalist, artist, and motivational speaker born in Iran to a Christian Armenian family, with her mother and grandmother as survivors of the 1918 Armenian Genocide in Persia-Iran. She earned her doctorate from the Sorbonne in Paris after graduating from Tehran University, immigrated to the US in 1984, and founded the Liana Cohen Foundation following the tragic death of her daughter.
