Robin McKinley

Jennifer Carolyn Robin McKinley, born November 16, 1952, in Warren, Ohio, is an American fantasy author renowned for her novels and fairy tale retellings, including the Newbery Medal-winning The Hero and the Crown (1984) and Newbery Honor book The Blue Sword (1982). Kids. She debuted with Beauty (1978), received the 2022 SFWA Grand Master award, and lives in the United Kingdom.
