Robert J. Sawyer (born 1960) is a Canadian science fiction author renowned for his 25 novels exploring themes at the intersection of science, consciousness, and religion. Notable works include the Hugo Award-winning Hominids (2003), Nebula Award-winning The Terminal Experiment (1995), and the John W. Campbell Memorial Award-winning Mindscan (2006), along with trilogies like Quintaglio Ascension, Neanderthal Parallax, and WWW.
