Richard Kluger (born 1934) is an American author, journalist, and former publishing executive known for his works on U.S. social history, politics, and society. Notable books include the Pulitzer Prize-winning Ashes to Ashes (1997) on the cigarette industry, National Book Award finalist Simple Justice (1976) chronicling Brown v.
