About Richard K. Morgan

Richard Kingsley Morgan (born 1965) is a British science fiction and fantasy author best known for his Takeshi Kovacs trilogy, beginning with Altered Carbon (2002), which won the Philip K. Dick Award and was adapted into a Netflix series. He has also written the A Land Fit For Heroes fantasy series and Black Man/Thirteen (Arthur C. Clarke Award winner), along with graphic novels and video game scripts like Crysis 2. After studying at Cambridge and teaching English abroad, he became a full-time writer following his debut novel's success.
