Richard Bausch (born 1945) is an American fiction writer renowned for his novels and short stories exploring family life, fear, love, and historical themes. He has received the PEN/Malamud Award, Rea Award for short fiction, Guggenheim Fellowship, and Dayton Literary Peace Prize, and serves as a professor in the Writing Program at Chapman University.
