Renée Watson

Renée Watson is an American writer of books for children and young adults. Her middle-grade novel All the Blues in the Sky won the 2026 Newbery Medal. She is also a Newbery Honor and Coretta Scott King Award recipient and the author of Piecing Me Together. Watson lives in Portland, Oregon, and New York.
