About Rachel Cusk
Rachel Cusk is a British-Canadian author born in Saskatoon in 1967. Her Outline trilogy (*Outline*, *Transit*, *Kudos*) redefined autofiction in contemporary literature. Her novel *Second Place*, shortlisted for the 2021 NBCC Fiction Award, is a loose reimagining of D.H. Lawrence's *Etruscan Places*. She is also known for her controversial memoirs *A Life's Work* and *Aftermath*.
