About Poul Anderson
Poul William Anderson (1926–2001) was an American science fiction and fantasy author born in Bristol, Pennsylvania, to Danish parents. He earned a physics degree from the University of Minnesota in 1948, published his first story in 1947, and became a prolific freelance writer known for works like Tau Zero, The Broken Sword, and Three Hearts and Three Lions, often praised for scientific detail and future histories. three Nebula Awards, and was named a SFWA Grand Master in 1997.
