About Piers Anthony
Piers Anthony Dillingham Jacob (born August 6, 1934) is an American author of science fiction and fantasy, best known for his long-running Xanth series. Born in England to Quaker pacifist parents, he emigrated to the United States as a child, became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1958, and achieved career success with multiple New York Times bestsellers, including Ogre, Ogre, the first paperback original fantasy on the list.
