Pierre-Jean Rémy

Pierre-Jean Rémy (pen name of Jean-Pierre Angremy) was a French diplomat, novelist, and essayist born in 1937 in Angoulême, France. He studied at elite institutions including Sciences Po, ENA, and as a Fulbright scholar at Brandeis University, before embarking on a distinguished diplomatic career with postings in Hong Kong, Beijing, London, and as France's permanent delegate to UNESCO.
