Phillip V. Tobias

Phillip Vallentine Tobias (1925–2012) was a South African paleoanthropologist renowned for his excavations at Sterkfontein caves and collaboration with Louis Leakey on identifying and naming Homo habilis, as well as analyzing key hominid fossils like Australopithecus africanus.
