Philip José Farmer

Philip José Farmer (1918-2009) was an American author best known for his science fiction and fantasy novels, particularly the Riverworld and World of Tiers series. —for "The Lovers" (1953, Best New Author), "Riders of the Purple Wage" (1968, Best Novella), and "To Your Scattered Bodies Go" (1972, Best Novel)—along with the 2001 World Fantasy Lifetime Achievement Award and SFWA Grand Master Award.
