Philip Gourevitch (born 1961) is an American non-fiction author and journalist, best known for his book We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed with Our Families (1998) on the Rwandan genocide, which won the National Book Critics Circle Award, Los Angeles Times Book Award, George Polk Award, and several others.com. Other notable works include A Cold Case (2001) and The Ballad of Abu Ghraib (2008); he is a longtime staff writer for The New Yorker and former editor of The Paris Review.
