About Paul Vialar
Paul Vialar (1898-1996) was a prolific French author known for his novels, tales, essays, and multi-volume series such as La mort est un commencement (Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris, 1948) and La Chasse aux hommes. He won the prestigious Prix Femina in 1939 for La Rose de la mer, was a Commander of the Legion of Honour, received the Croix de Guerre 1914-1918, and was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1952.
