Paul Mousset (1907-1981) was a French journalist and novelist renowned for his works inspired by his extensive travels, particularly in the Far East and Pacific regions. He gained major literary recognition with the Prix Renaudot in 1941 for Quand le temps travaillait pour nous and the Grand Prix du Roman de l'Académie Française in 1954 for Neige sur un amour nippon, among other awards including the Prix Montyon (1952).
