Paul Monette

Paul Monette (1945-1995) was an American author, poet, and activist renowned for his memoirs on gay relationships and the AIDS crisis, including the National Book Award-winning Becoming a Man: Half a Life Story (1992) and Borrowed Time: An AIDS Memoir. He received numerous accolades such as the Stonewall Book Award, Lambda Literary Award, and GLAAD Media Visibility Award for his poignant contributions to LGBTQ+ literature.
