Paul Goble (1933–2017) was a British-American writer and illustrator of children's books specializing in Native American stories. His most notable work, The Girl Who Loved Wild Horses (1978), won the Caldecott Medal in 1979, and he received the Regina Medal in 2006 for his contributions to children's literature, among other honors.
