Paul Durcan

Paul Francis Durcan (1944–2025) was an acclaimed Irish poet born in Dublin, known for his surrealist, satirical, and conversational style addressing Irish society, politics, and personal themes. Notable works include Daddy, Daddy (1990 Whitbread Poetry Award winner), The Berlin Wall Café (Poetry Book Society Choice), A Snail in My Prime, and Crazy About Women.
