Patrick Süskind

Patrick Süskind (born March 26, 1949) is a reclusive German writer and screenwriter best known for his internationally bestselling novel Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (1985), which sold over 20 million copies worldwide, was translated into 49 languages, and adapted into a 2006 film.
