Patrick Grainville

Patrick Grainville is a French novelist born on June 1, 1947, in Villers-sur-Mer, France, renowned for his baroque style blending fantasy, mythology, and nature. He won the prestigious Prix Goncourt in 1976 for his novel Les Flamboyants at age 29, with other notable works including La Toison, L'Orgie, la Neige, Bison, and Falaise des fous; he was elected to the Académie Française in 2018.
