Patricia C. and Fredrick L. McKissack

Patricia C. McKissack (1944-2017) and her husband Fredrick L. McKissack (1939-2013) were prolific American children's authors who co-authored over 100 books focusing on African-American history and culture. Fredrick McKissack.
