About Pascale Roze

Pascale Roze (born March 22, 1954, in Saigon, Vietnam) is a French playwright and novelist who worked for years with Gabriel Garran's International French Theater after earning a literature degree. She achieved major literary success with her debut novel Le Chasseur Zéro (1996), winning the prestigious Prix Goncourt and Prix du Premier Roman, and has since published numerous other novels and plays, including L'Eau rouge and Itsik, while earning additional awards like the Prix Maurice-Genevoix and Prix Arletty.
