About Paolo Giordano

Paolo Giordano (born December 19, 1982, in Turin, Italy) is an Italian writer and physicist who gained international acclaim with his debut novel The Solitude of Prime Numbers (2008), which won Italy's prestigious Premio Strega and Premio Campiello awards for a first novel, sold over a million copies, and was translated into more than 30 languages. Notable subsequent works include The Human Body (2012), Like Family (2014), Heaven and Earth (2018), How Contagion Works (2020), and Tasmania (2022); he holds a PhD in particle physics and contributes screenplays and journalism.
