About Orson Scott Card
Orson Scott Card, born August 24, 1951, in Richland, Washington, is an American science fiction author best known for his Ender's Game series, particularly Ender's Game (1985) and its sequel Speaker for the Dead (1986), which uniquely won both the Hugo and Nebula Awards in consecutive years. W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer (1978), the Margaret A. Edwards Award (2008), and multiple Locus Awards.
