About Norton Juster

Norton Juster (1929–2021) was an American author and architect best known for the classic children's novel *The Phantom Tollbooth* (1961). He wrote *The Hello, Goodbye Window*, illustrated by Chris Raschka, which won the 2006 Caldecott Medal. He taught architecture and design for over twenty years at Hampshire College.
