Norio Mobu (モブ・ノリオ), born November 16, 1970, in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese novelist who debuted with Kaigo nyūmon (Caregiving Introduction) in 2004, a semi-autobiographical shishōsetsu depicting a hip-hop enthusiast caring for his invalid grandmother, which won both the Bungakukai Newcomer Award and the prestigious 131st Akutagawa Prize.
