About Noor Naga
Noor Naga is a Canadian-Egyptian writer born in Philadelphia, raised in Dubai, educated at the University of Toronto, and currently based in Cairo; she is most noted for her novels If an Egyptian Cannot Speak English (2022), winner of the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, and the poetry collection Washes, Prays (2020), winner of the Pat Lowther Award, among other accolades including the Graywolf Press Africa Prize and Bronwen Wallace Award.
