Noel Streatfeild

Mary Noel Streatfeild (1895-1986) was an English author best known for her children's "Shoes" books, including the classic Ballet Shoes (1936) and The Circus Is Coming (1938; also published as Circus Shoes), which won the Carnegie Medal.
