Nigel Hamilton (born February 16, 1944) is a British-born American biographer, academic, and broadcaster best known for his award-winning three-volume biography of Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery (Monty), which earned the 1981 Whitbread Award for Biography and the 1986 Templer Medal, and his bestselling JFK: Reckless Youth (1992), adapted into a miniseries. He has also authored notable works on Bill Clinton, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and American presidents in American Caesars (2010), with recent publications like Lincoln vs. Davis (2024).
