About Nick Drnaso

Nick Drnaso (born 1989) is an American cartoonist and graphic novelist best known for his works Beverly (2016), Sabrina (2018)—the first graphic novel nominated for the Man Booker Prize—and Acting Class (2022). His debut Beverly won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Best Graphic Novel and the Angoulême International Comics Festival Prize for First Comic Book, with Sabrina earning additional shortlists including the Orwell Prize for Political Fiction. He lives in Chicago and continues to produce acclaimed comics.
