About Natasha Pulley
Natasha Katherine Pulley (born 4 December 1988) is a British author best known for her debut novel The Watchmaker of Filigree Street (2015), which won the Betty Trask Award and was shortlisted for several others including the Locus Award for Best First Novel. Her other notable works include The Bedlam Stacks (2017), The Lost Future of Pepperharrow (2020), The Kingdoms (2021), The Half Life of Valery K (2022), and The Mars House (2024); she has been shortlisted for awards like the Encore Award, Walter Scott Prize, Kitschies, and Sidewise Award. She studied English at Oxford and Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, and has taught creative writing at universities including Bath Spa and Cambridge.
