About Nancy Eimers

Nancy Eimers (born 1954) is an American poet who graduated from Indiana University (M.A.), University of Arizona (M.F.A.), and University of Houston (Ph.D.). She teaches creative writing at Western Michigan University and has authored several poetry collections including Oz, A Grammar to Waking, No Moon, and Destroying Angel. Foundation. Her honors include two NEA Fellowships, a Nation “Discovery” Award, the Verna Emery Prize for No Moon, a Pushcart Prize, and a Whiting Award.Goodreads
