Morgan Thomas

Morgan Thomas is an American writer from the Gulf Coast. Their debut story collection, Manywhere, was a finalist for the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize and the Lambda Literary Award for Transgender Fiction. Mad Eden, published by MCD / Farrar, Straus and Giroux, was longlisted for the 2026 National Book Award for Fiction. A graduate of the University of Oregon MFA program, they have received fellowships from MacDowell, Black Mountain Institute, and the Sewanee Writers' Conference.
