Morgan Talty

Morgan Talty (born 1991) is a Penobscot author and Assistant Professor of English at the University of Maine, known for his debut story collection Night of the Living Rez (2022), which won the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize, National Book Critics Circle John Leonard Prize, and American Academy of Arts and Letters Sue Kaufman Prize among others, and his novel Fire Exit (2024), a finalist for several awards including the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize.Morgan Talty official site,
