About Mike Mccormack

Mike McCormack (born 1965) is an Irish novelist and short-story writer from County Mayo, known for his innovative works such as the single-sentence novel Solar Bones (2016), Notes from a Coma (2005), and This Plague of Souls (2023). His debut collection Getting It in the Head (1996) won the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature, and Solar Bones earned him the Goldsmiths Prize and the International Dublin Literary Award.
