About Michelle Huneven

Michelle Huneven (born 1953) is an American novelist and journalist born and raised in Altadena, California. site. She earned an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and has written novels exploring themes of recovery and maturation, including the National Book Critics Circle Award finalist Blame, as well as Round Rock, Jamesland, Off Course, Search, and Bug Hollow; she has received a Whiting Award, Guggenheim Fellowship, and James Beard Award for food writing.
