About Michel Henry

Michel Henry (1922-2002) was a French philosopher and novelist renowned for his phenomenology of life, emphasizing radical immanence and subjective experience, as developed in major works like The Essence of Manifestation (1963) and Philosophy and Phenomenology of the Body (1965). He authored four novels, with L'Amour les yeux fermés (1976) winning the prestigious Prix Renaudot award, and served as a professor at the University of Montpellier while lecturing internationally.
