About Michel Dard
Michel Dard (1903–1979) was a French writer who began his literary career late in life at age 63 with his first novel Mélusine (1966), after careers in law, teaching, and as an international civil servant. Fondation de France. He achieved major recognition with the Prix Femina in 1973 for his novel Juan Maldonne, followed by the Prix Broquette-Gonin in 1977 for his poetry collection Irréversibles. Other notable works include Les Années profondes (1968) and Les Sentiers de l'enfance (1977).
