About Michael Shea
Michael Shea (1946–2014) was an American author of fantasy, horror, and science fiction, best known for his Nifft the Lean series and stories like "The Autopsy." His novel Nifft the Lean won the 1983 World Fantasy Award for Best Novel, and his novella "Growlimb" earned the 2005 World Fantasy Award for Best Novella; other notable works include A Quest for Simbilis and Polyphemus, with nominations for Hugo and Nebula Awards.
