About Michael Ryan
Michael Ryan is an American poet and memoirist born in 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned degrees from the University of Notre Dame, Claremont Graduate School, and the University of Iowa, and has taught creative writing at institutions including UC Irvine, where he directs the MFA program.
