Michael Bronski (born May 12, 1949) is an American academic, writer, and activist best known for his 2011 book A Queer History of the United States, which won the Lambda Literary Award and Stonewall Book Award. He has authored numerous works on LGBTQ history, culture, and politics, earning the Publishing Triangle's Bill Whitehead Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2017, and serves as Professor of the Practice in Media and Activism at Harvard University.
