Melania Mazzucco

Melania Gaia Mazzucco (born 1966) is an Italian novelist and screenwriter whose notable works include Vita (2003), which won the prestigious Strega Prize, and La lunga attesa dell’angelo (2008), recipient of the Bagutta Prize. She debuted with Il bacio della Medusa (1996) and has earned numerous accolades, including the Premio Elsa Morante and Premio Napoli, with her books translated into multiple languages worldwide.
